The older brother of Manchester Arena bomber Salman Abedi is no longer in the country - despite being ordered to attend the public inquiry into the terror attack.
Meanwhile, Abedi’s childhood friend was arrested while trying to leave the country on Monday, the inquiry has heard. Ismail Abedi, 28, is the older brother of Salman Abedi and convicted murderer Hashem Abedi, who helped plan and facilitate the terror attack. Ismail has been given a court order to attend the inquiry on Thursday to answer questions about the radicalisation of the bomber, but has ‘refused to co-operate’.
