Elijah Taylor believes Super League is “a lot more physical than the NRL” following his impressive debut for Salford Red Devils in Friday’s season-opener against St Helens.
The defending champions claimed an ultimately comfortable 29-6 victory over Richard Marshall’s side, who featured five new signings including Taylor.
Yet Salford fashioned an impressive second-half response and cut Saints’ lead to seven points before Kristian Woolf’s side sealed the win with three more tries in the final quarter.
