Ryan Seacrest hailed Larry King as an "American treasure" after the TV icon died aged 87. The 46-year-old star has taken to Twitter to heap praise on King, who passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after being treated for COVID-19.
Ryan wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I lost a dear friend and mentor. Truly an American treasure. Rest in peace, Larry King. " Fellow TV star Wendy Williams has also paid tribute to King, who hosted 'Larry King Live' on CNN between 1985 and 2010.
Wendy, 56, described King on Twitter as a "broadcasting legend". She said: "Sad news this morning. TV broadcasting legend Larry King has passed away.
