EastEnders fans have begged Jake Wood to return to Albert Square as Max Branning.The actor, who left the BBC One soap last year, sparked return rumours after he took to Instagram on Sunday to mark the first anniversary since his exit.He shared a throwback video montage of Max dragging a heavy black bag out of the house and putting it in a rubbish bin.At the end of the short clip, Jake can be seen staring menacingly at the camera as Max while dressed all in black.The soap star penned alongside the montage clip: "Just been told it's a year ago today since I left @bbceastenders. Time flies x."Unsurprisingly, Jake's latest Instagram grid update caused a stir amongst fans, with some begging for him to return.One fan penned: "Time to come back then."Another added: "Get back on it, and kick up merry hell."A third person posted: "They still talking about Max so you could return.."While a fourth social media user said: "Ready to come back then?"Others mentioned that Max could come back and kill serial killer Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith), who has murdered three Walford resident and the past 18 months."Is that a body in that bag?? If so, who is it?" asked one fan.A second person replied: It’s Gray’s body."While another posted: "Max needs to come back to save EastEnders.

Fans will have to wait a bit longer than usual for American Horror Story Season 10. However, that means that we only have more time to speculate about what Ryan Murphy has in store for us in this milestone installment.
