Russian torture victims are said to have been mutilated so badly it's impossible to determine whether or not they were a man or woman, Ukraine has said.

Around 403 bodies have been exhumed from a mass grave near the city of Izyum after Vladimir Putin's troops were routed by Ukrainian soldiers.

The officer added that also found among the dead were five children, with regional governor Oleg Synegubov revealing the hideous deaths were at the hands of the Russians.Synegubov said: "Most of them have signs of violent death, and 30 have signs of torture.
