Putin has ordered troops to fire a terrifying and “unstoppable” new hypersonic missile at targets in the White Sea, Moscow claims. The destructive Zircon weapon has been developed over a period of at least four years and is capable of hitting locations a whopping 620 miles away at a speed of 7,000mph.Russia ’s Ministry of Defence told Kremlin-backed news organisation TASS: "Today, the lead frigate of Project 22350 Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov fired a Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missile at a sea target position in the White Sea from the Barents Sea.” They boasted their missile was able to go "so high that it prevents the opponent's air defence system from detecting its impact in time".

It comes as the evil Russian President intensifies his invasion of Ukraine with a horrific “scorched earth” policy that aims to eliminate opposition in the eastern European country.

The embattled city of Severodonetsk is being bombarded with around 500 rockets every hour, reports say.Deranged Vladimir Putin said the new Zircon missile will “strengthen the security” of his country. He claimed: “Now it is especially important to develop and implement the technologies necessary to create new hypersonic weapons systems, high-powered lasers and robotic systems.”The Zircon has whipped up a lot of excitement throughout the blood-thirsty Russian military and propaganda on TV Zvezda, a channel owned by the Kremlin, bragged of its capabilities in March. Its commander, first rank captain Igor Krokhmal, said in the chilling broadcast: “No one will see the missile launch or its flight.
