Royal Ascot punter blew the chance to win a fortune after they cashed out their bet early for less than £500. Bailey Grant placed a seven-fold accumulator across Thursday and Friday's racing at Ascot, with his £1.05 each-way bet returning a total of £83,638.75 if all his selections won.
After seeing his first three horses win on Thursday, Bailey tweeted his bet slip and wrote: “What should we do @AndyRobsonTips.”He chose not to cash out just yet and let the bet run going into Friday, where he saw his fourth selection also win to raise his cash out value even higher. With just three more horses left to run, Bailey tweeted "Oooo it's getting closer" before choosing to cash out his bet for £463.75.Those remaining horses all went on to win, meaning Bailey missed out on a total return of over £83,500.
He again tweeted his slip, this time writing: "Still can’t believe it, cashed out for £463.75 when it went on to run and win for £83,638.75!
