Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Romelu Lukaku admits he is not surprised to see former Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford perform so well this season.
Lukaku departed United in the summer to join Inter Milan, where he has hit the ground running, scoring 23 goals already this season.
In his place, Rashford has stepped up to score 19 goals at United this season, his best ever return for the club. Although he is currently injured, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's last update on Rashford's progress suggested the striker could return before the end of the season.
And Lukaku said hard work was behind Rashford's improvement in front of goal this season, as he took part in an Instagram Q&A session on Monday night.
