Former England cricketer and commentator Robin Jackman has passed away at the age of 75. The former pace bowler is thought to have passed away in his home in Cape Town, having been diagnosed with cancer in 2012.

The ICC tweeted: "We are saddened to learn about the death of legendary commentator and former England bowler Robin Jackman, who has passed away aged 75. "The thoughts of the cricketing world go out to his family and friends during this difficult time." Jackman took more than 1,400 wickets in his first-class career, and lifted the County Championship with Surrey in 1971.

He featured in four Test matches and 15 One Day Internationals for England, before moving into the commentary box and enjoying a long stint behind the microphone
