Jurgen Klopp by pulling off a brilliant nutmeg as Liverpool thrashed RB Leipzig on Thursday. The Reds travelled to Germany for their third game of their pre-season schedule, following a defeat to Manchester United and a win over Crystal Palace.
Firmino had started both of those games and again played from the off at the Red Bull Arena. The Brazilian was selected alongside Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in attack by boss Klopp.
With club record signing Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota both also battling for the central role in Klopp's side, Firmino needed to make an impression.And he certainly did just that with a delicious piece of skill that opened Leipzig up beautifully.
Firmino was deep inside his own half when he received the ball from Naby Keita with two Leipzig defenders around him.The Reds star took a touch, before putting the ball between the legs of the onrushing Kevin Kampl as he cut back.
