Former Manchester United trainee Robbie Savage was gifted a T-shirt that read 'Charlie Savage's dad' in BT Sport's coverage of the Boxing Day fixtures.
The gag comes after the ex-Wales international witnessed his son Charlie make his United debut against Young Boys in the Champions League.
During the draw with David Wagner's side, the 18-year-old replaced Juan Mata while his father was in the gantry commentating on proceedings.
The manner in which he made his Reds bow with the 47-year-old on commentary led to comments from Gary Lineker among others. The Macclesfield director of football recently called to be referred as "Charlie Savage's dad" rather than the United youngster be known as Robbie Savage's son.
