Riyad Mahrez has joked that he'll get a new phone after sharing an image of his damaged phone on social media whilst boarding the plane to Manchester City's pre-season tour.
Mahrez has signed a new contract with City that will keep him at the club until 2025. The 31-year-old winger is coming off the back of one of his best seasons in a City shirt and has been rewarded with a new contract.
Mahrez scored 24 goals and registered nine assists in 47 games across all competitions last term. The Algerian was City's top goalscorer in the 2021/22 season, with his strikes proving crucial in helping his side reach the Champions League semi-finals.
The three-time Premier League winner had been facing an uncertain future at the Etihad as he entered the final year of his contract.
