Ferdinand has voiced his support for the protest, arguing that, as a former player, he should be on the fans' side. Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, Ferdinand added that he thinks the widespread attention the protest has grabbed means the Glazers will look at selling United rather than court more negative publicity.
