Rio Ferdinand has urged England manager Gareth Southgate to recall Mason Greenwood. The 20-year-old won his one and only cap for the Three Lions against Iceland in September 2020 as he missed out on a place at Euro 2020 through injury.
Greenwood started this season in superb fashion with three goals in the opening three Premier League games. Spending a little time out of the line-up either side of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's high-profile sacking, the striker made his mark under newly-appointed United interim manager Ralf Rangnick against Young Boys.
