Rio Ferdinand has told Thomas Tuchel he must make his new Chelsea squad understand his tactics very soon. Frank Lampard was sacked on Monday on a whirlwind few days at Stamford Bridge.
The following day Tuchel was appointed after being sacked last month from Paris Saint-Germain. Roman Abramovich made the German his top target to replace the club legend and has already sat in the dugout for his first game in charge.
Despite having just one training session under his belt - a few hours on Tuesday evening - Tuchel was at Stamford Bridge to oversee Chelsea's match against Wolves.
He fielded an experienced team, with Thiago Silva, Olivier Giroud, Jorginho, Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger all starting.
