Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.

He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.

If there’s anyone who can make Prince Charles laugh and smile, it’s Rihanna. The Work singer was pictured meeting the Royal heir in her native Barbados last night as she was crowned a National Hero.

Rihanna, 33, was seen greeting Charles at one point during the historic event and they appeared to be having a warm chat as the Royal was clearly laughing and smiling beneath his face mask.

The singer made every effort to glam up for the ceremony as she stunned in a burnt orange, one shouldered silk gown. Charles, 73, attended the presidential inauguration ceremony at Heroes Square, Bridgetown on Monday evening to witness Barbados become a republic and welcome its first president, Sandra Mason, after removing his mother, the Queen, as head of.
