Avanti West Coast (AWC) has launched its new premium economy option, which gives customers wider seats, more leg room and a guaranteed table.
The new travel class will sit between its standard and first-class services as a middle-rate tier. But unlike first-class, customers don’t get complimentary refreshments included in this ticket price.
The new class is initially only available to buy as an upgrade on the day of travel, with prices ranging from £15 to £30, depending on the length of journey.
