Evangelical pastor Michael Oluronbi, 60, has been jailed for 34 years after attacking children and adults at least 88 times to to fulfil his “insatiable sexual appetite”.
Oluronbi had a “vice-like grip” on his victims, persuading them to take part of in holy bathing rituals to “cleanse” them of evil spirits.
A string of female victims fell pregnant but were taken to abortion clinics in a bid to cover up Oluronbi’s vile crimes. The trial, heard at Birmingham Crown Court, was dubbed “one of the worst cases of sexual abuse of multiple children to come before the courts”.
