RB Leipzig chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff has opened up over his decision to terminate Chris Vivell's contract after losing "trust" in him.
The technical director has been heavily linked with a switch to Chelsea, who have been scouring around Europe looking to fill positions in the boardroom following the arrival of Todd Boehly as owner.
The American has made sweeping changes to the Chelsea construct, with some big-name departures including Marina Granovskaia, Petr Cech, Scott McLachlan, Damian Willoughby and Thierry Laurent.
Livell had been targeted by the new Blues due to the incredible work he has done at RB Leipzig, signing players that were later sold for massive profits including Naby Keita, Timo Werner and Dayot Upamecano.
