Queen as a toddler that was once disapproved of for being “too chubby” by her mother has been sold at auction for £930.The Princess Elizabeth doll did not receive the royal seal of approval when they were first manufactured in the 1920s due to the Queen Mother's dislike of it.At the time, they were now even big sellers but toy collectors feel the doll is a rare item today.Antique specialist Daniel Agnew said: “Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, was said not to approve of this doll as she thought it looked too chubby."As it didn't receive royal approval, it was not a big seller.
