Bobby Shmurda has finally been released from prison. The rapper - who found fame with his hit Hot N**** in 2014 - was arrested that same year and charged with conspiracy to murder, possession of weapons and reckless endangerment.
Bobby - whose real name is Ackquille Jean Pollard - then served two years in jail awaiting trial, before pleading guilty to the charges in 2016.
Prosecutors said his role was a leading one in the GS9 gang. He was then sentenced to seven years in prison by a judge, however his sentence was later reduced to five years after he received credit for the two years he served while awaiting his trial.
