Paul Gascoigne has returned to Celebrity Island after he dislocated his shoulder and spent a week in hospital. The 53-year-old Rangers legend burst into tears as he was reunited with his campmates after being allowed to come back to the Italian reality show.

Gazza had to be sedated and given oxygen so his shoulder could be "popped back place" after the injury he sustained completing an assault course task to win meatballs and spaghetti.

He has no been allowed to carry on with the show, filmed off Honduras, with a shoulder brace and some strict safety guidelines, The Mirror reports.
