Rangers were able to sit back and relax as they watched Celtic lose 1-0 in the Highlands hours after their comfortable 4-1 win over the Terrors.
The gap stands at 18 points between the teams and with only 24 left to play for but two more Rangers wins would only secure the title before the teams meet at Celtic Park if the Hoops come up short in another game.
But any sort of result at against the outgoing champions will mean Rangers will follow in the footsteps of the class of '99 who won the league at the home of their rivals.
