Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has urged Marcus Rashford to show more “killer instinct” after being left frustrated by his first half performance against Arsenal.

Rashford was once again given the nod by Michael Carrick as the United coach took charge of his final game before Ralf Rangnick officially begins his reign.

The German was in the crowd after being handed his work visa, which will allow him to begin working at Old Trafford following the clash with the Gunners.

And having been on a watching brief to begin with, he’ll have been paying close attention what he will need to work on with his new players – and Rashford may well feature heavily.
