Andrei Kanchelskis believes the job on Ralf Rangnick's hands ahead of his impending Manchester United arrival is a "great challenge".
The German has agreed to a six-month deal to manage United until the end of May before moving into a consultancy role but he won't be in the dugout for the trip to Stamford Bridge after work permit issues, the Manchester Evening News understands.
His move would see him depart his position at Lokomotiv Moscow, but the 52-year-old ex- United winger says the Russians should be wishing him luck for his move.
