Steve Allen has been cleared by Ofcom after complaints were lodged against the host for body-shaming comments he made about Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tilly Ramsay.

The radio host referred to the daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay as a "chubby little thing" live on air, before she called him out in an open letter on Instagram.

Tilly's response to the 67-year-olds radio host's cruel comments promoted huge support from fans, as well as fellow celebs too.The incident on air received 860 complaints as the broadcasting watchdog looked into the incident, but has now said it wont launch a formal investigation against the radio host, 67.Tilly was just 19 when Steve's comments were aired on October 18 while she was competing on the BBC
