Racist thug made monkey sounds at passer-by before proceeding to kick and punch him

A racist thug kicked and struck a passer-by after making vile monkey sounds towards him. Scott Campion and his friend were walking across a bridge when they encountered their victim coming the other way.

They uttered something to the man as they walked across the River Tyne but he did not understand due to his broken English so they started to repeatedly make monkey noises at him, reports Chronicle Live.

The man, who was walking home from Newcastle Central Station at the time, was then kicked and struck and had scissors hurled at his head as part of the savage assault.
