Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.

In a video posted on the At The Races Twitter account, a group of eight men and women can be seen travelling along a road outside the Ascot racecourse in a full horse-drawn carriage. With the men sporting top hats and traditional morning dress, and the women wearing gorgeous dresses and fascinators, the video looked like something out of the mid-19th century. The group certainly attracted some curious looks as they sped (sort of) along the road, and folk on Twitter had their opinions on the slightly over the top arrival too.
One person produced a theory about the clip, saying: "You just know someone had this idea blind drunk and then they all agreed and then they had to go through with it."Have you ever turned up to a sporting event in an unusual vehicle?
