The Queen will spend her 95th birthday without receiving the romantic present she has always received from her husband of 73 years Prince Philip, following his tragic death.
Every year, The Duke of Edinburgh would purchase a lovely bouquet of flowers for the Queen to mark her special day, the Daily Express reports.Prince Philip, whom Elizabeth married in 1947, died on April 9 at the age of 99.The Royal Family paid their final respects to the family's patriarch at his funeral on Saturday at Windsor Castle.Family members will reportedly be visiting the Queen over the coming days to ensure she would not be left alone while mourning her late husband.A Buckingham Palace spokesman declined to comment, saying all family matters after the funeral.
