The Queen may return to Sandringham to feel closer to Prince Philip as her first wedding anniversary without her beloved husband approaches, says a royal expert.
And Kate, who often spends weekends on the estate with William and the children, will be a great source of comfort to her. Earlier this month, Her Majesty paid a brief visit to her home in Norfolk as she recovered from an unspecified bout of ill health, before returning to Windsor Castle.
And, says royal commentator Duncan Larcombe [author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story], she may well head back there for the weekend to mark 74 years since her royal wedding on November 20 1947.
