However, Honor Morrison, 23, was delighted to get a touching personalised letter back from Buckingham Palace. Honor spent four hours painting the Duke of Edinburgh, having seen his face all over the news for days.

And She placed the canvas in the living room of her family home in St Albans, Hertfordshire, for the next few weeks but soon found her work of art "creepy".
