Queen stars rake in £100k a day due to soaring success of Bohemian Rhapsody film

The remaining members of Queen are raking in over £100,000 in sales a day thanks to the continued success of their film Bohemian Rhapsody.

Their latest accounts from their main company Queen Productions reported turnover of £42million in a single year and a profit before tax of £19,179,528.

A dividend payout of £20.17m was paid out and split between surviving group members Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon and the estate of Freddie Mercury for the accounts ending in September 30 last year(2020).

The film Bohemian Rhapsody, named after the band’s biggest hit, was released 2018 but continues to be streamed and watched online created further income with new legions of fans also buying their music.
