Queen’s honours list is a "mockery" and is in need of an "overhaul" in the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s own Archewell honours, according to a royal author.

Sean Smith, who penned Meghan Misunderstood, told the Daily Star Her Majesty’s honours has a "great deal of meaning to people who deserve it" but suggests the prestige is too often "dished out" to those who don’t.Mr Smith believes the list, which is released every year in honour of the Queen's birthday, needs an overhaul and that Harry and Meghan's Archewell could present a better version of recognising people.A trademark application described the couple's Arechewell work as "providing recognition and incentives by the way of awards to entities and individuals who have made.
