The Queen’s Birthday Honours lists recognise the achievements and service of people across the UK, from all walks of life - including famous faces.

National treasure Lulu, 90s Brit-rocker Skin of Skunk Anansie fame, Bake Off star Prue Leith and Strictly judge Arlene Phillips are amongst the latest celebrities to be honoured by the Queen.

Scottish singer Lulu, best known for her 1964 hit "Shout", is to receive a CBE in recognition for her 57 year career as a singer and entertaining.

The 72-year-old is also being honoured thanks to her countless contributions to charities and fundraising. The star, also known as Lulu Kennedy-Cairns, first received an OBE back in 2000.
