Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Sir Rod Stewart's blonde bombshell wife Penny Lancaster has paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen while giving a glimpse at the woman she was and how she enjoyed "having a laugh".The 51-year-old TV star turned police constable also spoke of how the late monarch enjoyed breaking the rules.Appearing on Good Morning Britain last week, Penny shared some sweet anecdotes about the newly appointed King Charles III and the late Queen - while revealing the one way Her Majesty broke royal protocol.READ NEXT: This Morning fans threaten to 'boycott' show over Holly and Phil's 'shameful queue jump'Chatting to Susanna Reid about the time she danced with the King for his 60th birthday celebrations, Penny revealed that she was initially nervous to meet the Royal Family.Susanna said: "You can obviously get overwhelmed with nerves, but actually Her Majesty was not somebody who minded if you didn't stick to protocol."Penny then revealed how Her Majesty "liked it when something went wrong".She said: "Absolutely, she always liked it when something went wrong - any opportunity to have a laugh."She really had a great sense of humour."Penny is now gearing up to work on the day of the Queen's funeral as a special constable for the City of London Police.The former Loose Women star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant joined the City of London Police after appearing on Channel 4's Famous and Fighting Crime in 2020.In April 2021, she completed her training and is now fully qualified.

Speaking about her job and having worked at royal events and occasions before, Penny revealed on GMB that working at the Queen's memorial service at St Paul's Cathedral "was a great privilege".
