THE gun that killed Halyna Hutchins was used for off-set target practice fun by the film's crew using real bullets, it was reported.
Halyna, 42, was shot by Alec Baldwin on the set of the movie Rust after he was reportedly handed the weapon loaded with a live round.
The 63-year-old was told he the weapon was 'cold' and wasn't aware it was loaded. Baldwin was doubled up in shock after Thursday’s accident on the set of western movie Rust, which also saw director Joel Souza hit in the shoulder.
A vigil was held for Halyna at which mourners vowed to get justice for the “brilliant” cinematographer. It has now emerged that the vintage weapon was used by crew during their down time, reports TMZ.
