Princess Beatrice's stepson Wolfie played a crucial role during the wedding as he was given the honour of being best man to his father Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Four-year-old Christopher Woolf, affectionately known as Wolfie, was not only given the important role of best man but was also the page boy.

They newlyweds were married in a small family ceremony on Friday at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. Wolfie is thought to be one of the youngest toddlers in British history to play such a role in a royal wedding.

New photographs released by Buckingham Palace tonight show Princess Beatrice and her husband Mr Mapelli Mozzi leaving the church after the service, and the couple with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
