Princess Beatrice broke royal tradition last Christmas because of Meghan Markle

It's been an exciting year for Princess Beatrice, and while she didn't get the wedding she dreamt of she did get to marry the man of her dreams.

Her new husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has been a family friend since he was a child, so is no stranger to royal life. But obviously marrying a princess means there will be some exciting new parts of his life - like attending official events and getting the best seats in the house for royal celebrations.

Last year he got a sneak peek at one of the family's favourite days out - even though tradition says he shouldn't actually have been there.
