Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Princess Beatrice cut the singer's face during a party at her family home.Stuart Camp has revealed that neither he nor Ed, 29, have spoken to Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York's eldest daughter following a booze-fuelled party at Royal Lodge, situated on the Windsor Castle estate.Ed had been partying at the York family home with Beatrice, 32, and fellow musician and former army officer, James Blunt.An incident is said to have happened when Princess Beatrice attempted to "knight" James as a prank during the get-together in 2016.Not realising that the Galway Girl singer was stood behind her, Beatrice is said to have picked a sword off the wall of the royal residence and swung the blade - causing damage to Ed's face.Ed has never publicly.
