I’M A Celebrity contestants have been treated to a very royal campmate this year, and Mike Tindall’s made light work of impressing famous faces.
But one person who apparently won’t agree with his latest venture is Mike’s mother-in-law, Princess Anne. The 44-year-old ex-England rugby player is the first member of the Royal Family to sign up for I’m A Celeb and according to royal expert Katie Nicholl, there’s no way Anne will be rooting for him.
Speaking to True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat, Katie explained: “Knowing Princess Anne… The idea that she’ll be sitting, cheering Mike on is absolutely unthinkable.” Instead of watching her son-in-law eat bugs, Katie claims Anne will steer clear and not think too highly of his actions. “I think she’ll be thinking, ‘What on earth is he doing?’” she said.
