Prince William is likely to attend the Princess Diana statue unveiling without Kate Middleton, a royal expert has claimed.

He and Prince Harry will be reunited at the ceremony in the grounds of Kensington Palace on July 1, only their second face-to-face meeting since Megxit.Harry and William had been working on the project together since 2017, and the event will mark what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday.

Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Meghan Markle will stay at home in Montecito, the US, to look after baby daughter Lilibet.

The Daily Telegraph’s associate editor Camilla Tominey believes the Duchess of Cambridge is also unlikely to attend.She told the Australian 9Now’s Today programme: "We've never really been told.
