Sunday evening and the whole of Monday have both been dominated by the news that 12 clubs - including Manchester City and Manchester United - have signed a letter of intent to participate in the Super League.

The proposals have received widespread condemnation from supporters, as well as experts and former players. Now, a Royal Family member has had his say, with Prince William - who is the current president of the Football Association - taking to Twitter to voice his concerns.
