Royal fans were left confused earlier today after a hoax story about Prince William and Kate Middleton separating went viral.
The story, which was "accidentally published" by French news site Oh My Mag detailed that Kate had moved out of the couple's home with their children.After being picked up by MSN, the story spread rapidly, however, both sites soon deleted their stories and Oh My Mag has issued an apology.
The MSN story included false details about the state of the couple's marriage and reported that 'arguments between the couple have escalated significantly to the point where the Duchess has had to move out with her children.'Reacting to the fake news on Twitter, many Royal fans were unable to comprehend how the story could be true.Commenting below the now-deleted MSN story, fans congregated to pour scorn on the rumours. "Why is their personal life news?" screamed one.
Another said the idea was highly unlikely, writing: "Lmaooooo yeah right.""This has got to be fake news...", sniped another.
