Prince Philip, who has died at the age of 99.The Royal Family announced the Duke of Edinburgh, husband of the Queen, had passed away peacefully on Friday morning at Windsor Castle just two months before his 100th birthday.Sottish politicians, celebrities and heartbroken fans have been rushing to pay their respects to the royal, who had recently been treated for a pre-existing heart condition and an infection.The tributes were led by Nicola Sturgeon who said she was 'deeply saddened' to hear of his passing.She tweeted: "I am saddened by news that the Duke of Edinburgh has died.
