Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince Louis is expected to attend a different junior school to his siblings, according to reports.The four-year-old — who cheekily charmed the nation with his naughty antics during the Platinum Jubilee — will not be enrolled at Thomas’s Battersea Junior School like his brother George and sister Charlotte.Instead, Louis is expected to start his formal education at the Independent Preparatory school in Lambrook near Ascot.It comes amid reports suggesting that his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning to leave Kensington Palace and move out of London.Last year, Louis went to Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington, as his sister did previously.But, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly planning to relocate to Windsor this summer, Charlotte and George are also expected to switch schools during the 2022/23 academic year.
