Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. She represented international charity organizations and received recognition for her fashion and style, releasing a line of clothing in 2016.
Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry 'wanted Windsor Castle but only got Frogmore Cottage', new book claims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to move to Windsor Castle but were given Frogmore Cottage, according to royal author Katie Nicholls.Katie, in her book The New Royals, quotes the late Queen’s close friend Lady Elizabeth Anson, as saying that the Duke and Duchess had been disappointed with the Queen's gift of the historic Grade II listed home, as they were hoped for a suite of apartments in Windsor Castle itself.Lady Elizabeth told Katie "The cottage was a big deal." "But despite the "generous gesture" the couple didn’t remain in Frogmore long.In January 2020 the Duke of Sussex sent an email to his father, telling him that he and Meghan were unhappy.Harry explained that they wanted to move to the US, according to author Valentine Low, and “seemed to be under the impression that they could just sort it out by email before he and Meghan got back to London”.After crisis talks with the rest of the royal family, Harry and Meghan then made their dramatic move to the US.In the following September, the couple went on to repay the taxpayer for the £2.4million cost of refurbishing Frogmore Cottage.A spokesman for the couple said they had paid for the refurbishment in full.
