Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

California has reportedly become Prince Harry’s “spiritual home” after living overseas in the States with his wife and child for more than a year, a journalist claimed.

Journalist Bryony Gordon, who once interviewed the Duke of Sussex, argued that Harry has found a real “sense of purpose” since he stepped down from royal duties and made the move to the US.

As the family prepare to welcome their daughter later this year, Bryony says Harry, 36, has been enjoying the simplicities of normal life with his pregnant wife Meghan and son Archie in their $14 million mansion in Montecito.

In a recent article for the Daily Telegraph, the mental health advocate wrote how Harry has quickly adjusted to life outside of royal conventions.
