Princess Eugenie appears to have been inspired by pals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as she announced the launch of her own podcast series.The 31 year old royal announced that she would be starting her own podcast series with charity The Anti-Slavery Collective this year.She founded the charity five years ago with best friend Julia de Boinville — who she attended both school and university with — with the mission of raising awareness of modern slavery as a "global pandemic".The news was shared with a photograph of the pair in the charity's monthly newsletter which showed them sat on a white sofa in front of a pair of microphones, reports Express.co.uk.An accompanying statement read: "We were so excited to begin recording our long-awaited podcast this year, due to be released in 2022 so stay tuned!" they said in a monthly newsletter, accompanied by a photo of the women recording with microphones on a white couch.An official launch date for the series has not yet been confirmed.It comes several weeks after Harry and Meghan signed an exclusive podcast deal with streaming platform Netflix, which is reportedly worth £110 million.A statement at the time read: "What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction.“With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we hear each other, and hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are.”They released the first 35 minute episode of their 'Archewell Audio' podcast back in December, where egendary music maker Sir Elton John spokeabout how technology enabled him to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings during the.
