Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be looking to have baby Lilibet christened during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend.
Prince Harry's second child is due to turn 1 on Saturday (June 5) and there are fears that a surprise event may be created during a hectic schedule for her majesty.Discussing the potential event on GB News, Presenter Isabel Webster stressed that the rumours were not "backed up by anyone official".She said: "I have heard a rumour that it is Lilibet's first birthday, isn't it on Saturday, they might try and get her christened whilst they're over in the UK."And some suggestion that if Her Majesty is free on Sunday who knows it's not confirmed it is pure tittle-tattle but that was a rumour I heard."Speculation about lil' Lilibet's christening has been rife since she arrived in the world in June 2021.
Unlike her brother Archie, who was christened two months after his birth in 2019, there has been no public announcement on when Lilibet's would be - leading some to speculate about the couple planning a special moment.
The planning of the location of the child's christening has been fraught with difficulties due to the couple's residency in the US.The couple have not brought their full family back to the UK since 2020 due to issues with security.
