Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's son Prince George receives hilariously inconvenient present from his godmother as she pays tribute to Princess Diana.The eight-year-old's godmother Julia Samuel has recently revealed how she honours her late friend when giving presents to George.During the podcast, How to Fail with Elizabeth Day, Julia explained how Diana started the joke which later became a tradition.The tradition which is where the godparents gift to the family must be the most inconvenient but hilarious present in terms of noise and time to construct.Julia said: "So I do to George what [Diana] did to us."Which is give impossible toys which are really noisy, take a lot of making."Explaining the inconvenience she sets for Prince William and Kate after gifting George the gift, she added: "I come in slightly tipped by the size of the present that William then has to spend days putting together."And then put all the machinery together and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that.

That makes me laugh and it makes George laugh."The 60-year-old went on to say how much her friend Diana would have "loved" her grandson.She continued: "He is amazing.

He’s funny and feisty and cheeky and God [Diana] would have loved him so much. That is heartbreaking for all of them."The news follows after Prince William revealed that George is "fascinated" by computer games and that he and wife Kate are "being careful" about the amount of screen time their children have.Speaking to the BAFTA Young Game Designer Mentor winner in 2021, the future King discussed George, and his siblings Princess Charlotte, six and Prince Louis, three, game time.He said: "We're to regulate their gaming, that's the thing at the moment."We watch.
